Do you work for your data or does data work for you? | Tech

We live in a world where the amount of data is growing exponentially. Business processes are increasingly digitised; 90% of the world’s digital data that has been created in the last two years. So the question you might ask is: do I work for my data, or does my data work for me?

Data Leviy Analytics

Daily insights

We see that this exponential increase in digital data is also impacting our clients. Everything that users register with Leviy on a daily basis, results in more data, more information and ultimately more insight into the organisation. Whether it is a cleaning company, hospital, hotel or holiday park, the data provides useful information for optimising (business) processes.

Creating a proper analysis of this ever-growing set of data is not easy, not to mention translating this analysis into concrete insights. At Leviy we love the challenge of solving these complex issues so that we can contribute to a better service of our customers.

We have discovered that the way we visualise analysis and insights can make a huge difference in the way our clients actually use this information. Clear graphs and visualised insights are more easily interpreted than large tables with large amounts of information.

Example 1: In which region is the cleaning quality the highest?

In this case, we opt for a heat map instead of large tables, with scores and ratings, to draw a conclusion. With a heat map you can easily compare the cleaning quality of the different regions in relation to each other. With the help of our smart analysis tool, we can discover the relationship between cleaning quality (based on different types of audits) and location (based on where the cleaning and audits have been performed).

Example 2: What can I do to improve the cleaning quality?

To help answer to this question we generated a top three of the most disapproved elements out of  all the data from conducted (DKS) audits. Based on the date of the audits, we can not only report the elements where the most errors were measured, but also the insufficient audits. This data can now be used to make immediate adjustments, but can also be used as a guideline for the following year. For example, it can provide information about which period (e.g. summer period) requires extra attention.

Merging data

While working with our analysis tool, Leviy Analytics, we combine as much data from Leviy as possible. We then apply several new techniques in the field of data visualisation, data analysis and data modelling to provide our clients with an easily to interpret analysis in which  relationships between the different information sources are clearly visualised. For instance, we look at the data of an audit and link it to the number of complaints or issues to the same client.

“People are good at detecting patterns and abnormalities in visual representations.”

By combining data and comparing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with their criteria, it becomes easy to see what is going well and what requires extra attention. People are good at detecting patterns and deviations in visual representations. They make it easier to see deviations in a visualisation, so that you know where to make adjustments.

For example: You can see which specific part of a client satisfaction survey scores relatively poorly and which planned activities may have been forgotten for this same customer.

The combination of this data enables you to steer the daily organisation. By focusing on the important points, you can eventually optimise the entire organisation.

Stimulate to innovate

Working with Leviy Analytics offers new ways to work with your data and innovate your business accordingly. By building up your monthly or quarterly reports in Leviy Analytics, you don’t have to waste any more time on creating these reports. They are automatically filled and by setting up the right filters, you can download them.

“No more Management Reports?”

Within Leviy, there are even options to make this whole process happen automatically. By using automatically sent reports, you can receive a report at the end of the day about low scoring inspections or forgotten tasks, for example. You can also have management reports sent automatically per period. We actively encourage our clients to take a critical and fresh look at their processes. In this way, you can automatically inform all your clients with a set report. This does not only save time, but also increases the quality of service for your clients.
